Hands-on workshops designed to teach you how plants grow, how to harvest them, and how to care for them through the season. You’ll plant your own container using beautiful, high-quality materials and go home with something that continues to grow.

What to Expect

A one hour hands-on immersive workshop in a beautiful garden to learn, get your hands dirty and go home with a container full of fresh plants.

Learn about topics including plant and soil health, plant spacing, tending and harvesting and how to keep your container thriving through the season.

❋ Lovely setting

Hosted in a serene garden setting, 5 minutes north of Middletown, MD. Entire workshop held outside so dress accordingly.

❋ All materials provided

Plants, soil, and large galvanized steel container or grow bag to create your garden plus a care and harvesting guide to take home. Gloves optional and the only thing you need to bring.

❋ Small group

Limited to 15 participants to allow time for hands-on instruction and Q&A.

  • Tea Garden — Grow Your Own Herbal Blends

    July 18 9:00-10:00AM

    Learn to plant, harvest, and dry your own tea herbs to create healthful and soothing teas at home. $150

  • Cut-and-Come-Again Greens Garden

    September 12 9:00-10:00AM

    Plant greens for repeat harvests all season. Choose from kale, chard, spinach, mustards, and lettuces. $150

  • Seed saving

    October 24 2:00-3:00PM

    Learn the ins and outs of seed saving and try your hand at harvesting and storing seeds. Fill and take home seed packets of 4-6 varieties of annuals and perennials to kickstart your own garden in 2027! $35

Can I transfer my ticket?

Yes. If you are unable to attend, just email the name of the person you are transferring your seat to no more than 2 days in advance of the workshop.


What should I bring?

Just yourself. Gloves are optional. Everything else is included.


Are workshops suitable for kids?

These workshops are designed for teens and adults. Reach out if you’d like to bring a younger participant.
